Bought it but need to upgrade to get anything useful out of it. I paid for a thesaurus app but need to spend more money to make it worth while. Ridiculous!!!

A wonderful support tool for my writing projects- dont know how I did without it

I have been using this specific thesaurus for over a few years now; and I must say, that as a journalist myself, even I have been LITERALLY blown away by how much my vocabulary has naturally increased, simply by using this thesaurus (originally I got it to help prevent any redundant words, for example, when corresponding professionally through emails; but found myself INSTANTLY addicted (and I am not known for having an addictive personality). I started using it it to type ANY & ALL of my emails- casual or not, and many of my friends and acquaintances noticed, too! Im now often complemented for sending "exciting, hilarious, interesting, & well-written (or "typed," to put it properly) emails/ texts. When I moved states and my career wasnt transferable, I found that I was utterly disgusted by the way Id allowed my resume to be considered "finished" and distributed to my network when last seeking a position. But instead of trashing the old one and starting over from scratch, I simply pasted it onto a brand new, updated & attractive format template, cut out unnecessary sentences, re-arranged the opening paragraph, and most importantly, used my thesaurus throughout the entire process, which I knew was a major upgrade once I received 5 times the responses and interviews than before, along with offers including impressive pay increases, and more than 4 offers changed the position in which Id applied for, and promoting the proposal to a higher-up, much better paying position, which, of course, meant better benefits and perks! All due to the newly acquired upgrade in my vocabulary, when I had a perfectly excellent way of speech before! I mean, I had used the SAME old resume, only adding a few QUICK improvements! Before long, I was referring to this application for every single thing that required me to communicate: text messages, resumes, documents, even my planner and schedule! Obviously, as Ive mentioned already, the best part about it is that I have significantly improved my articulation and vocabulary in only a couple of months I had added thousands & thousands of new words, which is far more than I could ever have absorbed during my eight years in college! Thesaurus, I cant live without you! My only advice for improvement would be to add more content in the extra features/add-ons. For example, there are fairly no thoughtful words in the "Rhyming" add-on, which makes it worthless… There should also be more examples demonstrating the use of the word in different sentences, to help people understand a more varied perspective of the different meanings a single word can take on. That said, I only regret paying extra money for features that my (and most every) mind is far more skilled that then what the feature claims to bring to the table. Overall, I find this a well-deserved 5-star thesaurus app (and trust me- I have compared them all)! 8•)

I could not completely finish a sentence without this app!

I use this app all the time! I just love it. You no longer have to sound ignorant by using the same words over and over, you can find a better word for your usage, the uses are endless! It is so easy to use, youll love it too! ❤️

App is a handy tool for looking up words while reading for pleasure, Bible study and drafting documents. A copy and paste function would greatly extend the usefulness of the app.

One of my FAVORITE APPS! When Im looking for a better (that perfect) "word" to add just the right "Oomph" to my writing, it is fabulous having an App I can quickly access in a beautifully vivid, easy to navigate - layout!

App works well, better than my computer program...

I love this app bc of my personal experience and a great app for students in/out of the country. They can learn new stuff and understand the definition easier. Thanks for the great jobs, keep it up.!.!.!.

It used to be a decent app, but now its heavy on colloquial speech and limited on academic, formal language.

Bought the add on for rhyming--right off the bat it gave me "no rhymes for this word" several times. Found plenty of words that did rhyme when I did an internet search for the same words. Wasted my money.

Whatever happened to Roget??? This is as dumbed-down as they come.

As soon as I opened, I had to pay another $2 for the rhyming tool. So I did. Put in the word "sonic". It came up "no rhymes for this word"!!!! I used all tools available including syllables,and nothing! How about, chronic,phonic,tonic!!!!!! Thats just the 2 syllable rhymes I came up with. Waste of money. Overrated junk. You can get more help with a search engine.....

Ive used it for years. Its tried and true.

We use this often in our songwriting. It offers a great list of alternatives to find that perfect word. The functionality and intuitive ease of use is great. Although there is an included rhyming dictionary, from a songwriters perspective, a fuller set of rhymes would be particularly useful.

Ive used the Internet version on thesaurus.com and loved it. This app is much more difficult to navigate and use. You have to type the word then select from a list of the same word and if you pick the wrong selection there is no back button. Why cant it just be as easy as your internet version? I wished I had just saved my money and used my chrome browser instead.

Please update this app! It desperately needs some visual improvements!

I love this handy app, esp. With its DICTIONARY COUNTERPART. I dont get any profit from this recommendation, it is just such a perfect size and reference.

Has rudimentary features but has a plenty of room to improve and add on. More convenient and accessible examples are needed--especially since it is paid for again. You have to buy the app for an unreasonable price only to find yourself paying for additional essential features which shouldve been included in the app, like examples feature.
