I love this app a lot!

I truly love this app; it 96 percent does what its suppose to do. My problem is the dictionary, yes it gives you a bunch of words with the origin and history but where the hell is the dictionary, oh it in the dictionary app. It redirects you your dictionary app. Also why am I paying for examples? Why are we paying for those add ons, they should be free, especially for all the hassle trying to get the correct meaning, and not the origin and history. .99 wouldve of been a reasonable price for the add ons, even though they should be free, but I would of paid for it and not wrote this angry review. App is totally worth the money, I use it everyday, going back and forth between the tRex to the dictionary app. Im finally going to cough up the 3.99 again for the dictionary app being that it redirects me there so much and those add ons are FREE!

Slow to use

Hate it when I get a new app and the first real use it doesnt work. I needed a big word from "nuclear proportions" but app doesnt even recognize nuclear as the common use meaning huge. Also, the keyboard need some clicks to appear, not instant.

Best 5$ ever spent

Easy layout and I like that it asks you which version you want instead of just giving you more words you dont want. The best part as a lyricist is no longer having to keep two apps and switching back and forth. (Rhyme zone and thesaurus) they have it built in with the upgrade and it was sooooo worth the 2$

You need to use it more, Bby4776

Detrimental does not mean the same thing as incremental. Look it up, Bby4776.

Smooth, Fast, Effective

Glide around with ease with this thesaurus. User-friendly, intuitive, and swift. Straightforward, easy to follow and figure out the interface. The layout and colors dont interfere with your search and theres nothing cutesy or complicated to impede your progress. Nicely done.

REMARKABLE!!!

I am thrilled with this Dictionary app because in my mobile life my writing will not be boring!!!

Youll probably find the right word with this tool

"Thesaurus" (original name!) goes beyond the conventional book-derived presentation of a list of words, to harness the power of the computer to help your search. For example, the Sort and Refine tools enable you to specify the desired words complexity, length, even the number of syllables. (Ideal for poets — Dylan Thomas used a thesaurus.) If the word youre looking for exists, this tool gives you your best shot at finding it. Highly recommended by a guy who makes his living with words.

I love love love this app!!!

I feel like I would literally die if I didnt have this app to reference, and look up any random word that pops into my head. Im constantly using it for everything and anything and nothing all at the same time.

Nice and complete...exhaustive...thorough

Useful and effective app with a painful interface. Provides an extensive relative word list, in fact better than many print references.

THESAURUS FROM REX

THS IS AN EXCELLENT THESAURUS AND I RECOMMEND IT. PARTICULARLY TO ADJUST THE COMPLEXITY AND LENGTH OF ALTERNATIVES IS USEFUL THO IN MY OPINION, COMPLEXITY IS THE SUFFICIENT AND THE ADDITION OR NOT OF LENGTH LIMITS THE OPTIONS. COMPLEXITY DOESNT NECESSARILY REQUIRE A "LONGER" WORD. I believe that is what is meant by the option. i would pay for this would it have some cross reference option. if i ask for alternatives (just example to plan and then select strategy then from that option again, it becomes quite easily to stray further from the original word. what options? Perhaps a side bar that retains words passed over that remain most like original word? or when asked "do you mean ... this sort of strategy ..." to differentiate more precisely and warn where that might potentially lead? The developers would know best what might be most beneficial and as i said it would be reasonable to charge some fee for this depth. how about maybe a THESAURUS LEVEL ONE FREE, THESAURUS LEVEL 2 at small fee (and this would include Level one as well) then THESAURUS LEVEL THREE (including 1 & 2) taking advantage of the complexity already offered most LEVEL ONE would not option, LEVEL 2 may or may not, so forth. A GOOD APP. I LOOK FORWARD TO MORE EXTENSIVE DEVELOPMENT.

The BEST

Cant write without it! I have this app on every device and use it constantly.

Misleading product description + poor service

What tipped me to buy this product was the following description in the product overview: "Poet or songwriter? Rhymes & Syllables is only available here and will help any lyricist." But its actually an in-app purchase. This is dishonest marketing. I contacted customer service about this, and got no response.

Amazing

A very helpful and complete App!

More rhymes

I am excited about this app. Its easy to use and works nicely and I think Im going to use it frequently. If only the rhymes section had more rhymes. I believe that its possible to add a lot more rhymes. Once that feature is satisfactory Ill rate 5 Stars.

Could be much better

Does provide useful information and seems to have much inbuilt offline information. The interface is quite clunky, uses space on the ipad very poorly and not intuitive and I dont like the orange. Too much space between lines on ipad, not bad on iphone but could be a little closer to get more on the page and reduce frequent scrolling. Seems as though designed by a completely different person from their dictionary app, which is excellent, and is much much better. Also it is not possible to switch off the sounds. I dont need to be sitting in a meeting looking up something with sound effects. I have purchased the in-app add ons for ipad and strongly object having to purchase these twice, once for iphone and also for ipad. The app works and downloads on both! One purchase should work on both devices!!! The advertising is misleading and does not mention that there is an inapp purchase required for examples and tips ect. Seems like a little too much greed and obfuscation here.

Thesaurus REX!

Excellent, everyday app! Not just for the novel writer, great for everyday knowledge and reference. Job well done Christoffer P. Feser ;)

LOVE IT

Use it daily, its very fast

Pretty useful, but not as smart as they say

Disappointing

Not much worth to this app. It offers what is freely available elsewhere. The upgrade usage example package is very limited. A good example why developers and Apple should offer time limited trials.

Love it.

I love this app. It really narrows your search for the proper context of the word you are searching for.
