Basic Thesaurus features are OK, but rhyming module is a waste and incomplete -- cant believe they sell this, I would like my money back. Seriously cant find a single word to rhyme with substance. Mmmmmm, lets see off the top of my head abstinence, once, nuance ... there a dozens of words, stupid app! At least I learned my brain still works better than primitive software.

“Better than any Dictionary app. Swap today to using a Thesaurus instead!” I use this rather than a dictionary, more often than not. I LOVE that this thesaurus includes MULTI-WORD VOCAB as searchable content; no more googling for iffy explanations of turns of phrase! My only want after all this time using Thesaurus Rex regularly, is that I wish there was a Mac OS application integrated version or the ability to download your favorited entries & accompanying synonyms, antonyms, & rhyming words in a PDF layout; my only suggestion. Otherwise, start using this user-friendly thesaurus today & youll soon leave dictionary apps behind for easier to understand answers to what a word means in any given context by finding a close synonym with which to replace your unknown word or misunderstood usage of a word you thought you knew. While dictionaries can often be strict interpretations of vocabulary definitions; sometimes you need a more reliable source to figure out what your word means— This app will help! 4.995 Stars.

This is a fun, useful tool, but charging for examples seems greedy and shows theres something important that SHOULD be a part of the app. But isnt. Thats sad and disappointing. Otherwise Id give it 5 stars.

The basic function is just OK. It is very frustrating when entering a search term (eg, "spent"), to explore a branch meaning (eg, "spent foolishly") for that term and then discover that one has to retype that term to explore another branch meaning (eg, "spent like water"). I havent seen any significant improvements in the basic product except to offer to sell me upgrades (which I have all bought).

In the dark ages of the 60s, when I taught English, I would have loved having this app. Yes, we did have thesauruses back then, but they were in the library and not readily available in most homes. Its the best, simply the best, when you love words and you love learning new ones to express yourself. I dont know you, but I love every engineer, every programmer and every one else on your team. Thank you, for making all these wonderful words available for all of us.

How do you find the pronunciation of the word being searched? I can easily find the pronunciation of the corresponding synonyms....

Love this app along with all the dictionary.com apps. Wish this had iWatch support. Will continue to use this app and continue to tell my friends how wonderful dictionary.com apps are.

Its nice. Its just missing some UI conveniences they should add. Ex: make the "favorite" option easier to understand. I cant find a lot of my favorite searched words. Also, Id like to be able to favorite the results words too. Hence, 4 stars.
